FOR THE LOVE OF TONI

If she were alive Toni Morrison would turn 93 on 18.02.2023, but her language and books live on forever.....
At the presentation of Neske Beks' essay De Kleine Morrison, we celebrate the language and life of Toni Morrison and reflect together on the healing power of her language.

Everyone is invited to bring her/his/their favorite Morrison book. We think it would be a treat to engage in a conversation together using favorite excerpts about how her books have changed us and can still change us.

ASdeTank and BeHuman vzw are also launching a new collaborative project: de Boekencirkels, celebrations led by Black women in which we will read Toni Morrison's books as a ritual.


For the Love of Toni - are evenings and a day of celebration that the author of the essay De Kleine Morrison would like to spend with you and with Toni Morrison herself! - by which we mean her language and her books.
